Kite and stay in Paje — private jacuzzi at The Nest with kites over the lagoon
— Kite & Stay

One roof. One quote. One week.

Sleep in a tree house and learn in the lagoon at the end of the garden. Room, course and rental in a single request — from the only hotel on this beach whose kite school lives in-house.

— How it's different

No vouchers, no walking.

«Kite and stay» exists all along this beach — as two businesses stapled together. A hotel here, a school there, a voucher in between, and you doing the diplomacy when the wind changes the plan.

Here there is nothing to staple. The school is part of the hotel: your instructor knows your name from breakfast, your sessions are planned around the wind of your stay instead of an office's calendar, and when you ask «what would the week cost?», one email answers for everything — bed, course, gear, and whatever your non-kiting half wants to do.

A portal sells you a room. Not the week.

Booking portals list our rooms. They cannot list our lagoon, our instructors or our gear — so when you book through an OTA, that's exactly what you get: a room. The kite & stay week — room, course and rental priced together in one quote — is only put together when you book direct.

Book direct and one email answers for everything: your bed, your course, your gear, and whatever the rest of your party wants to do. A portal cannot put a week in a basket. We can, because all of it happens under one roof.

Two ways to sleep here.

4 · Land ready

You say yes once, and the week is waiting when you walk off the plane.

— The week, from the inside

What a kite & stay week actually looks like.

A kite & stay week in Paje runs on the wind, not on a timetable. You read the lagoon from breakfast, your instructor confirms the session for the hours the wind is working, and the rest of the day arranges itself around it — the pool, the village, a massage, a long lunch facing the water.

Because the school lives inside the hotel, none of the logistics that usually eat a kite trip exist here: no taxis to a school across the beach, no counter where your voucher means nothing, no gear to drag around. Your course is twenty metres from your bed, and the lagoon starts at the garden gate.

That is what «kite and stay» means when it is one house instead of two businesses: the week bends around the wind and around you — and the whole of it, room, course, gear and the days off the water, arrives in a single quote before you fly.

— Frequently asked questions

Asked every week.

I already booked my room through a portal. Can I still take lessons?

Of course — lessons are open to everyone. But the combined kite-and-stay quote only exists when the room is booked with us: a portal sells you a room, not the week.

How is the package priced?

Itemised, in one quote: your room, your sessions, your rental hours. You see every number before saying yes, and nothing is charged until you do.

My partner doesn't kite. What do they do all week?

Horse riding through the lagoon, spa, Mnemba, Stone Town, a dinner in a nest — the whole catalogue is in the plan builder, and it goes in the same quote.

When should we come?

Kusi blows from April to October, Kaskazi from November to March; March is the one genuinely quiet month. The month-by-month table is on the kitesurf page.
